OK, this post isn't really about scoring any deals, but I just had to take a moment to tell you about my new, amazing cosmetics purchase (and it's my blog, I can write about whatever I want, right?). So what is this miracle product? It's Urban Decay's Eyeshadow Primer Potion. I had been hearing for a while that this primer was really good, but wanted to finish up the (terrible) primer I already had (though I don't know why, because it didn't make one iota of a difference in my makeup). Anyway, since using this primer, my eyeshadow and eyeliner stay perfectly in place, with no creases whatsoever. In fact, Saturday night I fell asleep without removing my eye makeup, and it was still perfect in the morning when I woke up! You have to admit, that's pretty impressive. At $18, this primer isn't a bargain, but it's certainly not very expensive, and considering that you won't have to touch up or re-apply your makeup, I think it's worth every penny! I have looked for deals for this product and have come up empty-handed. However, Sephora does sell a few combination sets that include the primer, which are pretty good values. There's even one on sale for $16 that includes 6 eyeshadows, an eye pencil, and a half-size version of the primer. Now, that is a pretty good deal, and a reasonable way to give the primer a try. Anyway, I really did feel obligated to post this PSA, because I'm sure some of you out there also struggle with eyeshadow creases, and now you don't have to! And I do recognize that this post is pretty effusive in its praise for the primer, but I'd like to assure you that I'm not nearly important enough to be paid or sponsored in any way by Urban Decay to write this post.
